Microsoft remains in the Leaders quadrant as it continues to deliver both on its product vision for SFA within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 offering, and on its sales execution. The SFA product in Dynamics 365 is relevant for midsize, large and enterprise-size clients, as the vendor has packaged solutions to address all SFA functional needs.

Microsoft continues to attract new ISVs and new application offerings to its application marketplace, which is important for application leaders who want to avoid building custom extensions in their SFA deployments.

Company reference clients cited the application’s ability to scale with the Azure-based services and platform. They cited its ease of configuration and how you can extend it using Flow and PowerApps to address more complex business needs.

Microsoft has continued to increase and execute on its sales product vision, expanding the integration to LinkedIn Sales Navigator with functions not available through other SFA vendors. It also has a notable product vision for using AI for augmented relationship intelligence.
